Certified Intimacy Coordinator
Mo Matton (they/them) is a Montreal-based Intimacy Coordinator for Film and TV, certified by Intimacy Coordinators Canada (ICC) and Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA). Counting over 100 intimacy scene credits and a decade of experience in the film industry, they are the Quebec representative of ICC and offer their services in French and English. They have a background in movement, choreography and LGBTQIA2S+ advocacy, and hold a Masters in Media Studies and a Bachelor in Film Studies and Gender Studies.
Mo has developed workshops on trans inclusion for the Directors Guild of Canada (DGC) and facilitated Intimacy Coordinating educational workshops and talks for ACTRA, UDA, Festival du Nouveau Cinema (FNC) and various theatre and film faculties

SERVICES
As an Intimacy Coordinator on your project, Mo will support the director’s creative vision and assess your project needs. Their services include:
Facilitating clear communication between the director's vision and the performers' boundaries.
Supporting performers through movement coaching and choreography creation for scenes of intimacy, simulated sex and/or nudity.
Implementing proper protocols for scenes containing intimacy, simulated sex, nudity or high emotional content.
Advocating for the performers.
Liaising between production and cast.

TRAINING
Mo is certified by the SAG-AFTRA accredited training programs of Intimacy Coordinators Canada (ICC) and Intimacy Professionals Association (IPA).
They have trained with Casey Hudecki and Lindsay Somers, the first Intimacy Coordinators in Canada, as well as with Amanda Blumenthal, the Intimacy Coordinator behind Euphoria, The White Lotus and The L Word: Generation Q. They are one of the first trans Intimacy Coordinator in North America and among the first certified Intimacy Coordinators in Quebec.
